Family Faith Formation (K-6)
Hello Parents!
We are excited to welcome you to Family Faith Formation.
Family Faith Formation Sessions will be offered once a month on Sundays from 11:00am - 12:30pm. Families attend our Family Faith Formation sharing; in which, during part of the session, children will attend lessons with a catechist. Additional student lessons will be on alternating Sundays.
Family Faith Formation is a family based Catechetical program for families with children in grades K- 6, which includes an adult formation component. These formation lessons will allow families at St. Vincent’s the opportunity to grow together in the understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith through theological reflection, scripture study, participation at Mass, discussion, prayer, home study, online learning, and activities that enrich and cultivate faith in the home.
St. Vincent’s will be using Alive in Christ as our curriculum for this upcoming years’ Family Faith Formation.
Attendance:
We will have 8 gatherings of Parents & Students; with additional student lessons.
A make up packet will be given to families of missed lessons.
Parents will be emailed regarding the FFF group that your family will be assigned to for this year.
FFF Gatherings Dates: Meet one Sunday/ month from 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM
Weekend Mass times: Saturday 4:00pm and Sunday at 8 & 10am
2nd-6th Grade additional student lessons: Sundays 11:00AM - 12:15PM Oct 25, Nov 15, Jan 31, Feb 21, Mar 7.
Family Faith Formation Gathering Dates :
Open House & Family Fun Day - Date: Sunday, Sept. TBD: 11:00 - 12:30 - Stop by in the gym after Mass for Games & Crafts.
Registration Forms will be available as well.
