Parish Council: The Parish Council acts in a planning capacity to the Pastor in all matters pertaining to the “intentional planning for fulfilling Christ’s purpose.” This approach places emphasis on a blend of management by objective and elements of spiritual discernment. It includes review of the parish mission, assessment of past progress and strategic planning for continued parish vitality. It can include a formal needs assessment, focus groups, action planning, and occasional synods or planning assemblies. The Parish Council consists of the Pastor, the Director of Religious Education, two Parish Trustees, a representative from each organization within the Parish, eight elected adult members and two members appointed by the Pastor. Gifts for such a ministry might include those of leadership, stewardship, financial planning, and collaborating with others on behalf of the entire community. (Total commitment: two hours every two months) Coordinator: Rev. Karl Loeb – Rectory – 652.3972 or Lay Chair – David Squire – 674.6547 or [email protected]
