Knights of Columbus

Knights of Columbus: The Knights are a Men’s Catholic Fraternal organization that was started by Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882. It was started to support Catholic families at the loss of the provider, to support the Church and the less fortunate in the world through charitable works, and to promote the message of Catholic Christianity to the world. Today, the Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic Men’s Fraternal organization in the world. Our local Council is located at Christ the King Seminary and meets on the First Monday of the month, with open educational meetings through the winter months. Our volunteer projects have been primarily at the Seminary and at St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy. Anyone interested in becoming a knight should contact the Rectory.
